The Yanks have a chance for the four-game sweep as Joba Chamberlain takes the hill.
Will he go more than three innings tonight? After the new Joba Rules were instituted, in which he would build his pitch count back up, he's thrown 35 and 59 pitches (respectively) in two starts since, but has only managed three innings each time.
If his limit was 60 last time, he should be allowed to go about 80-85 pitches tonight.
The good news is that in Joba's two career starts against Tampa, he's looked like the potential ace he might be one day: 14 ip, 3 er, 8 h, 3 bb, 9 k.
This will be Jeff Niemann's second career start against the Bombers. Control was his problem in the first game (back in May) when he lasted just 3.2 innings and walked four (with two earned runs).
