Game 140: Remember When

Remember when the Rays were the class of the AL? Uncatchable, unstoppable. The division champs, the pennant winners?

They're still that team.

The Yankees can take nothing for granted, especially on the heels of a double-header sweep.

Jeter looks to collect 2 hits tonight so that when I go back to Bronx tomorrow I can see him tie and break Lou Gehrig's record. (I've always said that Jeter does something new every time I go to the Stadium- sure enough, I went to both games of the double header with my brother, and it was the first hitless doubleheader of Jeter's entire career. 0-7. It's about the only thing he could have done and surprised me).
