Game 146: Lopsided

I can't think of a more lopsided pitching matchup this season. Roy Halladay's last game against the Yankees saw him one-hit the Bombers in a complete game shutout. Sergio Mitre's last game against Toronto saw him give up nine earned runs (11 overall) in 4.1 innings.

Only two Yankees hit Halladay moderately well: Damon (.921 OPS) and Posada (.834). Every other Yankee has a sub-.800 OPS against the Jays' ace.

In limited ABs, seven Blue Jays have a .800+ OPS against Mitre, and five are above 1.000. Buena suerte, Sergio!

This might be a good game to get PT for some of the underused players like Mike Dunn, Mark Melancon, Shelley Duncan and Frankie Cervelli.
