After yesterday's 12 inning thriller, the Yanks try for another win against another rookie.
This will be Brett Cecil's 8th major league start, and the 23 year old has shown an inability to collect outs. He's allowed 46 hits and 10 BB in 35IP. His K/BB isn't bad, so the Yanks should be swinging; he's allowed 1.8HR/ 9IP, and he hasn't pitched at Yankee Stadium yet.
After a couple rough starts, Joba Chamberlain is trying to bring his stats back in line with his talent: only 79 hits in 81IP, but 40 BB against his 73 Ks.
Will we need another walkoff?
