This could be one of the best pitching matchups we see all year.
The Phillies' ace vs. the Yankees' ace: Hamels vs. Sabathia.
Hamels hasn't faced the Yanks since his rookie year of 2006 (when he went seven innings and allowed two runs), and has been underachieving this season (4.95 ERA in just 36.1 innings due to some minor injuries).
Sabathia hasn't faced Philly (in the regular season) since 2007. There is, of course, the infamous game he pitched against them as a member of the Brewers last October in the LDS: 3.2 ip, 5 er. So he'll be looking for a bit of payback.
