PA is under new management

If you have glanced at the names across the bottom of the main page recently, you probably noticed that there have been some changes here at Pinstripe Alley in the past few days.

John Amato, who founded this fabulous New York Yankees' site way back in 2005, has stepped down as leader here at PA. John is also founder of the incredibly successful political blog, Crooks and Liars, and that simply takes too much of his time. He may contribute occasionally, we hope.

All of us who enjoy contributing, commenting and reading the work here at PA owe John a tremendous amount of gratitude. Thanks for creating a great site.

Your new leaders here at PA will be TravisG and myself. We are incredibly excited about the opportunity, and with the help of the great tech gurus and hard-working leadership here at Sports Blogs Nation we hope to continue to grow this site, and make it the No. 1 Yankees' fan blog on the Internet.

Travis came to the site last summer, and has done an exceptional job. You might know me from my work over at SBN's New York Giants site, Big Blue View. If you don't already know, I am the lead blogger over there.

Unfortunately, long-time contributors 'Ronster22' and 'anaconda' have chosen to step away from the site for personal reasons. We thank them and wish them the best.

'Jscape2000' will still be here providing us with his opinions and his statistical analysis. We are glad about that.

Some things about the site may change going forward, that is inevitable with new leadership. The Community Guidelines have been expanded just a bit, and may still be tweaked somewhat.

Those of you who are familiar with my work at Big Blue View know my style, and if you have read Travis' work for a while you know what he is all about.

Personally, I love mature, intelligent discussion. I don't love juveline trash talk and trolling. Join the discussion, but keep it friendly and have something better to say than 'Red Sox suck.'

We hope you are as excited as we are. A new season is starting in a new Stadium, and we are pumped up. We look forward to sharing the highs and lows with you.
