40-man Notes

Billy Traber has pitched 4 innings in five games this spring. He has struck out 5 while walking no one.

His reward?

Andrew Brackman's spot on the 40-man, now that Brackman is on the 60 day DL.
This doesn't mean that Traber will head north with the Yanks, but it gives hope to those of us who'd rather see Igawa's high fastballs in Scranton than in the Bronx.

Interestingly, Carl Pavano has not been DL'd. I'd assume his roster spot will go to Morgan Ensberg, but the Yanks haven't made a move yet.
