And nobody asked Mitchell about the unusual relationship he had with federal investigators as he proceeded with what was private investigation. Why would federal investigators compel McNamee and Radomski to cooperate with Mitchell, and under what authority could they provide information to Mitchell -- information that is apparently not accessible to the public at large?

Olney also thinks that the Twins should hold onto Santana and try to contend with the team they've got.  The idea of Santana and Liriano back together is scary, and Olney has sources that suggest Santana wouldn't pass up on a record setting extention, even in-season.
