Chien-Ming Wang,  RHP  (16-6,  3.79)

Wang has won all 5 career starts against the Mariners (5-0, 2.78 ERA).  Ramriez has dominated the Yanks in his 2 starts against them (2-0, 0.63 ERA).

Considering Joba Chamberlain hasn't pitched since his unjustified ejection against the Red Sox last Thursday, I'm calling it right now -- Joba will pitch on back-to-back days for the first time in the big leagues if he is needed in the late innings tonight and tomorrow.

Obviously, after already dropping the first game of the series yesterday with another uninspiring performance, these final two games against the M's become that much more critical in the Wild Card hunt and Joba is well-rested.  Of course, the Yanks have to start getting much better outings from their starters, specifically Hughes, for that scenario to play out.
