The Ledger is reporting that Andy Phillips has a fractured wrist as a result of getting hit during yesterday's game and will be OUT for the remainder of the season.  Looks like we're going to see a lot more of Giambi at 1B and Doug Mientkiewicz backing him up in September.

Clemens has good success in his career against the Mariners (32-14, 3.20 ERA in 43 starts).  He has been a far better pitcher at home (4-1, 2.63 ERA in 8 starts) than on the road (2-4, 5.93 ERA in 8 starts).

King Felix has been pounded by the Yanks during his career (0-2, 6.94 ERA) and today will be his first start at Yankee Stadium.

The featured graphic for today's game is the road jersey logo of the Seattle Mariners from 1981 to 1984.
