As many of you know by now, Chris Britton was finally recalled from Scranton and has taken the slot previously occupied by the disastrous Sean Henn.  Perhaps Torre will actually use Britton this time and not let him sit and rot until he's needed for mop-up duty.

Despite a winning record, the Red Sox supreme trio (Dice-K, Beckett, and Schilling) has taken a beating against the Yankee offense in 2007 (3-1, 6.55 ERA in 7 starts).

Pettitte has outstanding career numbers against the Red Sox (14-6, 3.29 ERA in 27 games).  He is also 5-0, 2.06 ERA in his last 5 starts.

Again, despite his record, Matsuzaka has been pounded by the Yanks (2-0, 6.92 ERA in 2 starts) and the Red Sox as a team are only 14-12 in his 26 starts on the season.
