I'm having some computer problems that I hope will be resolved tonight or tomorrow.  Looks like the diaries were buzzing today, although I haven't had a chance to read through the dialog yet.

It appears that Ron Villone has finally been DFA'd and Brian Bruney is back from Scranton to replace him on the roster.

Clemens has great career numbers against the Tigers (26-11, 3.95 ERA in 47 starts).  Obviously, this will be Miller's first career start against the Yanks.

The featured graphic for tonight's game is the home jersey logo of the Detroit Tigers.

Those damn White Sox are doing a stellar job of helping out the Yanks once again.  They are completely worthless in every way.

Update [2007-8-24 18:12:29 by anaconda]:

Pete Abraham states that Villone has NOT been DFA’d but placed on the DL with a "mild lower back strain."  For joy.
