After 10 days of rest, Mike Mussina will get the start today and has great career numbers against the D-Rays (16-6,  3.25 in 27 starts).  In addition to Jeff Weaver, Edwin Jackson is one of the few players in the league having a worse season than Kei Igawa.

Jackson's previous experience against the Yanks had all been in relief (0-0,  5.06 in 4 games).

It's worth pointing out again, but Moose has pitched well over the last 6 weeks (2-3,  2.87 in 6 starts) and hasn't given up more than 3 ER since a dismal performance at Fenway on June 2nd.  Unfortunately, the Yankee offense hasn't been giving him much run support, so his record doesn't tell the whole story.  Just saying.
