Outstanding performance last night by Wang and appears to be in mid-season form after a rough start in 2007. He is 4-1 in his last 5 starts w/ a 2.50 ERA and is mixing in his slider and changeup very effectively. It's gotta be the haircut, or something like that.
I can't argue with Torre's decision to rest Jeter and Posada, but I really don't understand why it had to be on the same day and essentially taking two of your three best hitters out of the lineup. Probably should have rested Jeter yesterday because he knew Posada was going to get the [partial] night off tonight after Nieves was just recently assigned to be Moose's personal catcher.
The featured graphic for tonight's game is Ozzie Guilllen having a not so private moment after the Chicago White Sox beat the Houston Astros in Game 4 of the 2005 World Series.
Let the outrage begin.
