It was 10 years ago today when New York Yankee RHP-David Cone struck out 16 Detroit Tigers, his highest total in six years, and former Tiger 1B/DH-Cecil Fielder hit a three-run homer as the Yanks win by a score of 5-2.   Cone, who had shoulder surgery to repair an aneurysm on May 10, 1996, allowed four hits, including homers by Bob Hamelin and Damion Easley, in eight innings.
