Let's start with a bit of trivia before tonight's game...

Q:  Who were the three Yankee starting pitchers when they last played the Rockies at Coors Field in 2002?

A:  The same three starters scheduled for this series -- Mike Mussina, Andy Pettitte, and Roger Clemens.

Kinda eerie, isn't it?

As expected, Jorge Posada gets the start tonight at First Base while Johnny Damon sits.  This is probably something that happens once or twice in an NL yard because Jorge's hot bat is far too important to keep out of the lineup.

Meanwhile, Joe Girardi reportedly interviewed for the vacant O's managerial position.  Personally, I don't think he's going to take the job and will likely wait until a better offer is tossed in his direction.

On this day in 1903, Henry Louis Gehrig was born.  Happy Birthday, Mr. Iron Horse.
