Get ready for lots of Yankee baseball today.  It would be really nice to complete the sweep with Pettitte and Moose going today since the team will be forced to send Wang and three rookies to the mound this weekend against the Mariners.

Marty Miller must have been hired by the Rangers last night because the scheduled starter for Game 1, RHP-Kevin Millwood, was bumped due to a hamstring injury.

According to Don Amore, the Yanks have recalled RHP-Chris Britton from Scranton and have officially placed Phil Hughes on the 15-day DL.  However, Britton will likely be sent packing again once Moose is activated for Game 2.

In my opinion, they should keep Britton and send back Colter Bean.  Britton has the better arm and Bean wouldn't be a 30-yr old career minor-leaguer if he had anything of value to offer the big club.
