Matt DeSalvo hopes to recover from a completely embarrassing outing in relief of Clippard on Friday.

Here's a disturbing stat -- DeSalvo has walked 12 while striking out just 4 in the four appearances since his promotion from Scranton a few weeks ago.  That calculates to a 1:3  K/BB ratio if you're scoring at home.

You don't have to be a strikeout machine to be successful in the big leagues, but you can't be a walk machine.  This trend has to stop or the Jays' lineup will eat him alive.

You should recognize the featured graphic for tonight's game since it was the official team logo of the Toronto Blue Jays from 1977 to 1996.
