The Yanks are 3-9 against left-handers this season and face another one today in future Hall of Famer, Tom Glavine.  Good luck, fellas.

Darrell Rasner takes the mound and figures to give the Yanks' bullpen a good workout this afternoon.  Simply put, Rasner is a decent option as an emergency starter or a long man out of the pen, but he has no business being in the starting rotation for any prolonged length of time.

He runs out of gas once he hits the 70-pitch mark and loses his command and location in a hurry.  It's uncanny.

Rasner in his 5 starts in 2007:

04/08 --   4.1 IP, 76 pitches
04/14 --   5.1 IP, 78 pitches
04/19 --   4.1 IP, 81 pitches
05/06 --   5.2 IP, 80 pitches
05/11 --   5.0 IP, 78 pitches

Wanna know why Torre pulls Rasner today after just 70+ pitches?  Look no further than the evidence provided.
