Major shakeup in the lineup with the left-hander on the mound.  Looks almost like a split-squad Spring Training game.

The Yanks have recalled Ron Villone from Scranton and Sean Henn has been sent packing.  Villone has pitched very well in Triple-A this season and the Yanks need a dependable arm in that pen in the worst way.

Let's hope he can regain some of the magic he had last season because he was outstanding until September and bailed this team out of a lot of jams before his arm fell off due to overuse.

The inkblot-looking mess is the official team logo of the New York Highlanders in 1905 and the first attempt at the traditional "Interlocking NY."  Good thing they got it right several years later.

The other featured graphic is the official team logo of the Chicago White Sox from 1919 to 1929.  How ironic that its first season of use was the year of the Black Sox scandal and its final season of use was the year of the stock market crash.

Coincidence?  I think not!
