The Yanks are in trouble

Sorry to state the obvious. Yea, it's still early, but Boston is rolling, we're stumbling and Detroit and Cleveland are off to a fast start.
Boston is 7.5 in front at 24-11.
Detroit is 23-12 and the Indians are 21-13, so the Yanks are 5 games out of the wild card.
The White Sox and the Twins aren't playing great ball yet, but they both have better records than the Yanks and are both still dangerous.
Baltimore is playing much better than last year and Tampa has given the Yanks fits so far. Toronto has been hit with the injury bug now as Halliday is out with an appendectomy and BJ Ryan is still down so I see them not the force I thought they'd be.

It's really simple right now. Just win one series at a time. Cano will break out of his slump hopefully sooner than later,  but Abreu is a big worry in all aspects of his game. Matsui and Damon aren't doing any better than Abreu either. And yet we have Posada, Jeter and ARod having monster offensive years so far. If Giambi's foot continues to plague him than I think Jeter will be the #3 hitter in the lineup for a while.
And now we wait to see what DeSalvo gives them tonight...
