The Yankees optioned out Darrell Rasner and called up RHP Colter Bean for the game. One of the relievers (Bean or Chris Britton) will get the hook after the game when they activate Jeff Karstens. ... I'm not making this up, the Yankees were watching "Rocky Balboa" before the game. ... Mike Mussina tossed 20 pitches off the mound yesterday and said his left leg was "much improved." No word yet on a rehab start.
