AROD Walk off

This is sick. They Yanks were dragging this afternoon and Vizcaino won the Farnsworth award for today, but this April, ARod is Robert Redford. With two out and nobody on in the bottom of ninth, I was a bit dejected and started to change the channel when Josh Phelps hit a HR off of the Cleveland closer Joe Borowski. Yea, no big deal, but them Posada singles up the middle and Damon coaxes a walk...OK... Jeter slaps a single and Abreu comes to the plate.

Hmmmm...

Getting behind 1-2, he lines a single to left to make it a 6-5 game and I start thinking, no way, right? Borowski isn't too bad...

I thought the Indian closer would walk Alex and just take his chances with Giambi and a force at every base with the speedless one. Usually, you don't make that move, but the way ARod has been hitting, you have to consider it. Jason has been hot lately, but Cleveland chose to throw to ARod. After a wild pitch that put the tying run 90 feet away, they've gotta walk Arod, no? You have a force at every base...

Nope...

And the pitch...An A-Bomb for ARod...

Theeeee, Yankees win! 8-6...
