Oh No...

Pavano starts a game!

Yankees pitcher Carl Pavano, who was hit on the left instep by liner during batting practice last weekend, will make his first start of the spring on Sunday against Philadelphia.

"Step one," Torre said. "I'm looking forward to it. It seems like he's ready to do it."

Pavano, starting the third season of a $39.95 million, four-year contract, hasn't pitched in the major leagues since June 27, 2005, due to various injuries.

What are the odds that he gets hit with a line drive or falls head long into the dugout after his first inning? Come on...Maybe he loses the ball in the sun on a pop up back to the mound and he gets a concussion....
