11/7:
Gardner 1-3, BB, K
Corona 0-3, BB, K, SB
Wordekemper 1.1IP 0H, 0R, 0BB, 2K
11/8:
Gardner 0-3, 2BB, 2K
Miranda 0-3, 1BB, 1K
Jackson 1IP, 3H, 2R, 2BB, 1K
Wordekemper was brought in with two outs and the bases loaded in the bottom of the 7th. A ball, a strike, a ball, a strike, and finally the batter popped out to the third baseman.
In the 8th he got the first batter to fly out to straightaway centerfield, then struck out the next two.
17 pitches, 12 strikes. That makes 6 scoreless appearances (7.1IP) since Eric gave up 3 runs in his AFL debut. He's a college kid, so he's already 24 and should move through the system quickly.
I hope he starts the season in the Scranton pen, but he might get bumped out because of the stable of horses the Yanks keep at AAA.

Steven Jackson on the other hand...
I keep saying to myself, "At some point he's gonna have a good outing just by mistake."
And every time he pitches, I'm disappointed. 27 pitches, 14 strikes.
For those of you keeping score at home, that's 20 hits and 10 ER in 14IP.
