Mariano to accept offer

After returning from the Dominican Republic last night, Mariano Rivera is going to huddle with his representatives today and according to several sources is expected to accept the Yankees' three-year, $45 million offer early this week.
This is a good deal for Mariano and a fair one. He's making a ton of money and solidifies the closer role for the Yanks. The Yankees still need an eighth inning pitcher and I wonder if they can move Farnsworth, would they try to sign Cordero to fill that role...I haven't seen enough of him to know if he's a decent reliever, but crazier thoughts have crossed my mind...
