They won the first game 4
They lost the first game 4

Of those losses, they went on to lose the series only once. Of the wins, they went on to win only once.

Nothing is guaranteed, but clearly one game isn't worth jumping in the East River.

Pettitte pitched great against the Indians earlier in the season (7.1IP, 7 hits, 2 runs). That start is all the current crop of Indians has seen of him.

Let's hope that sinkerballer Fausto Carmona is as thrown off by his extra rest as Wang was.

Call it faith, call it loyalty, call it having watched this team do incredible things all season.
But it's a little early for the doom and gloomers to start writing 'I told you so.'
