He should propabably concentrate on getting hitters out:
Billy Wagner called former Phillies teammate Cory Lidle "chicken" yesterday for blasting the Phils only after Lidle was out the door.
Wagner basically agreed with Lidle's message - that the Phillies were uninspired and didn't exhibit a winning attitude every day. But the Mets closer thought it was cowardly to speak up only after leaving town.
Yanks and Mets usually don't throw dirt at each other during the season, especially since interleague play is over. Lidle can defend himself over what he said when he left Philly, but one has to think that Wagner should worry about getting guys out instead of involving himself in a story that has already ended.
