Yanks lose 4-2 on Randy's complete game outing

Quick Notes:

It was one of those nights. Randy Johnson had one bad inning, the third and that was that. He gave up three runs and then finished the game without Seattle doing much of anything. That was a good sign because he looked like he might get kicked around after that, but only needed 109 pitches (most of them strikes) to finish it out.

The biggest threat was ended when Cano got picked off of first with two on and one out in the fourth. Green then got hit with a pitch, but Damon lined out to left to end the inning. After Damon's HR there was not much after that.

Ichiro made two great catches in center field and Bernie got robbed of a hit in the top of the ninth when his wicked ground ball up the middle that was ticketed for a hit, smacked off of Putz's leg right to the second baseman.

The Yanks did get to rest the bullpen and Seattle was due for a couple of wins after losing eleven straight. Off to La-la land where the Angels always give them a tough time.
