Jaret comes through and?

New, comments

Torre said that he thought about putting him back in the game to start the seventh, but knew some lefties were coming and went for the match up. That didn't work out too well. The gaggle after the game was really weird. The reporters didn't even know what to ask Joe either.
Losing 5-1 to the Braves is going to happen from time to time, but the Yanks have to weather the Red Sox run right now. If they come out of it no more than five games back after the Met weekend series the Yanks are OK. Boston has Florida on the road. Here's what happened.

No hitting tonight except for Melky and Jorge.

Wright looked great against a terrible team, but I'll take it.

The bullpen stunk.

Jeter had a shot to tie the game with runners on second and third and one out, but hit back to the pitcher. The only spot that couldn't score the  tying run.

Posada still can't block the plate and catch the ball at the same time.

Listening to Michael Kay makes my teeth hurt.

The Yankee apologists are driving me nuts after the games they lose.
