Big Comeback Win

MLB.com decided to quit on me so I missed the last two innings. Major props to Bernie Williams for going 5-5. Link:

The Phillies called on Rhodes to pitch the eighth and get the lead to Tom Gordon, but Rhodes, who has a 7.55 ERA in 58 career appearances against the Yankees (including the postseason), melted down yet another time against New York. Williams reached on an infield single, Rhodes walked Miguel Cairo and Melky Cabrera, who was hitless in his last 15 at-bats, singled to right, scoring Williams to cut the lead to 7-6.

"Melky had a great at-bat," Damon said. "He's going through some growing pains right now, so to come through with that big hit was huge for us."

Damon followed with a triple to center, scoring both Cairo and Cabrera to give New York an 8-7 lead. Jeter added an RBI single, boosting the lead to two runs.
