The early votes are in and Derek Jeter and A-Rod lead the league in votes. Johnny Damon is positioned to be on the squad and Robinson Cano is well on his way to earning his first start in the All Star Game.
Go here and do your Yankee duty. All the voting is going pretty much like I expected. Living in L.A., it's great to see Paul Lo Duca and Mike Piazza battle it out for the team. And since this IS a popularity contest, I understand why Eckstein is getting more votes than Renteria and Rollins.
