First we've got "Metallica-gate" and now this. The Mets unveiled their New Shea-Stadium proposal. Here is a picture of it.
I thought to myself "Hmmmmm...Where have I seen this before?" A lightbulb went off in my head when I thought of this:
Same shaped old timey facade with the modern facility housed within, same pavilion on the outside deck, to be fair the seating is more akin to Turner Field and the field is a PNC park knock-off, but come on. Did the Mets' architect cheat off of the Yankees' notes?
