Randy Johnson has a love child. Yes. Yes. He's suing the mother for $100,000. In his statement regarding the matter Johnson said:
He called it a "private family matter" that he did not want to discuss other than to admit in a statement that he has a 16-year-old daughter from a previous relationship. Johnson and her mother never married, and the girl lives in the state of Washington. Johnson later married and has four other children.
But when Johnson was asked if the publicity could be a distraction after what has been a calm and productive spring training, he gave his strongest response. "I don't believe it is," he said. "I'm ready to pitch."
