It looks like what could be a reversal of the sports writers ballot the results of which, where Jeter supposedly wins it over Morneau and Santana, have been leaked worse than the Pentagon Papers. Joe Mauer's performance was remarkable, made more so by the daily pounding he takes behind the plate.
