This past Friday marked the 20th Anniversary of one of the Yankees most infamous trades during the last few decades under the George Steinbrenner regime.
On November 24th, 1986, the Yankees traded rookie prospect Doug Drabek to the Pirates for veterans Rick Rhoden, Cecilio Guante and Pat Clements.
Ah, nothing like reminiscing about the 1980s when any trade the Yankees made involving so-called "established players" was destined to be a complete failure.
Happy Anniversary, fellas.
