I'm a huge Giant fan, but I'm worried. The loss of Pierce is going to make it difficult on our already suspect defense. The defensive line is our bread and butter, but Pierce was the run stuffer. Without a pass rush, the secondary is going to get burned (Santana Moss) and we'll be forced to score 28 points to win. The Giants can survive without Shockey because Burris and Tikki are on fire, but Steve Smith scares me. The "home game" is our only advantage over the Panthers right now since Eli has trouble hearing on the road-we needed it, but I would have rather faced Phil's son than Jake.
