MICHAEL MORRISSEY is reporting that the Rocket might not make it back to the Bronx.

One interested observer guessed Clemens would choose between Houston and the Yankees if he plays in 2006 - but that he'd probably pick the Astros.

If Roger does pitch, I'd love to see him back in NY. I know Hoston is convenient and all and he wasn't happy with the way the Yanks handled Andy, but Clemens is a very competitive guy and with this lineup and what appears to be a strengthened bullpen, he'd be foolish not to try and win another ring before he hangs it up for good.
Who can really say that the Yanks wouldn't be a much better team with the Rocket than without him? Plus-talk about an insurance policy in case of an injury.
