The Yanks locked up Aaron Small on Tuesday, agreeing to a one-year deal worth $1.2 million. That's a nice raise from his $149,180.00 paycheck from last year. Obviously he wasn't going to go anywhere, but it's nice to see him get his due. He only went 10-0 and helped us salvage the regular season. Would the Yanks have made the playoffs without his incredible second half performance? I doubt it. He can pitch in the Big Apple and that means a hell of a lot to Brian Cashman.
