Yanks take 3 of 4 with a 6-2 win

Shawn Chacon pitched his way in and out of trouble all day and the Yanks got some timely hitting for a change to get him his third win as a Yankee.

Torre made a wise pitching move as he kept Shawn in the sixth inning when he normally takes a pitcher out. Chacon was able to get out of a bases loaded jam and one out with a strikeout and a fly out and the Yankees rewarded him by scoring two insurance runs in the bottom of the inning.

Gordon looked good in the eighth and Mariano cleaned up in the ninth. I know Joe wanted to get Flash and "The Great One" some work after Tom has been sidelined and Rivera has been a little shaky lately.
