Al Leiter takes the mound against Scott Elarton in the start of a three game set with Cleveland. Travis Hafner will not be with the team because his rehab start was cut short and he'll be re-evaluted today.
The Yanks are 2 1/2 games behind Boston for the division and two games back for the wild card against the A's. Oakland is on an incredible streak and Minnesota doesn't seem like the team to slow them down.
