Matsui just smoked a three run HR to give the Yanks a 5-3 lead in the bottom of the fifth. Tack on another rbi by Bernie and a wild pitch, the Yanks go into a rain delay leading 7-3 after five.
Chacon while not as sharp as previously, still is pitching much better baseball than Pavano or Wright ever had and if we hold the lead Shawn might get his first win as a Yankee.
A-Rod made another great defensive play and is finally settling in as an excellent third baseman. Did you see that 480 foot blast yesterday? I've never seen a ball hit there before.
