In the third, Womack and Jeter on first and second, Torre elected not to bunt Cano which was a horrible play. That would have forced a walked to Sheffield and pressured Santana to throw more pitches with the heart of the lineup following. Cano pops out and Womack gets caught trying to steal third. End of threat.
