Hopefully Randy is really healthy and can pitch as well a he did against the Angels tonight. We usually handle Minnesota, so a sweep would be a very nice thing.
With the A's as hot as they are, the Yanks might need to win the division to make the playoffs and we need some help if we're going to edge out Boston.
There's a rumor in the ESPN "pay-per-view" section saying the Yanks and Mariners are discussing a Carl Pavano trade, but I'm not allowed in. I probably should join, but these stories were always for free in the past and I'm having a hard time throwing down the cash out of principal.

In talks with the Yankees about a trade that might involve Randy Winn for pitcher Carl Pavano, the Mariners are believed to have discussed including a starting pitcher in the deal. New York is seeking mound help, as well as a replacement for center fielder Bernie Williams.
The Yankees seemingly expressed no interest in left-hander Jamie Moyer, so Seattle might be willing to deal right-hander Joel Pineiro, who might thrive with the increased run support the Yankees could give him.
