Open Thred: Game 57-Yanks lose 4-3 ot the Brewers

Another game, another loss. Randy Johnson can't shake the HR bug and that cost him.

Randy looked a lot meaner after giving up a home run to Jeff Cirillo, another Mendosa line hitter by hitting Geoff Jenkins square in the back. Too bad into didn't translate into anything meaningful.

The Yanks squandered chance after chance. Posada swings at the first pitch thrown by Doug Davis  after he had walked three batters in a row, ultimately stiking out. Then Giambi grounded into an inning ending double play.

The next inning Junior Spivey cracked a homer and you just knew that was all she wrote. The Yanks  can't seem to come up with the big hit, the big Home Run. Jeter's slicing liner to right was snared to end the game with the tying run on and that was that.

Another bad loss; the slide continues.
