What a huge win. Bern baby Bernie hit the game winning double and the Yanks rallied down three runs against Pedro to take the series from the Mets 2-1.
A-Rod committed a 2-run error on a tapper by Pedro that gave Pedro the 2-0 lead. I still think that Alex will eventually get it together at third, but as of now he still is shaky.
Pavano pitched well again, and the bullpen closed the door on the Mets, with Rivera getting his ninth save.
I'll have more tomorrow because I'm sick, but I felt so good for Bernie. A Proud, silent man who personifies what a teammate is all about. Time after time he has gotten a big hit...
