Open Thread: Game-24 Yanks beat Jays 4-3

Chien-Ming Wang made a great debut today, as the Yanks overcame another awful stint by Tom Gordon and on Tony Womack's bases loaded single in the ninth salvaged the rain soaked game.

This kid looked as calm as Dean Martin did after 5 martini's.

A-Rod stroked another HR which gives him nine for the month of April that stretched the lead to 3-0.

Wang should have had his first professional win if not for Gordon's meltdown.
He showed a nice fastball and splitter as he retired the first ten hitters he faced.

Mariano looked very strong in the ninth inning which is a huge sign that his career isn't quite over yet.

Will this carry over to tomorrow with Pavano on the hill? The win I mean, not the bullpen failures.
