That's the word. Cashman is talking to his agent, but to me they'll do what they can to sign Matsui. They need a real center fielder too. Matsui would be a below average middle man at this point and Giles would go to left. I say we need to grab BJ Ryan and fast. Pitching is the key. There will be somebody to fall through the cracks if we can't get Tori Hunter or Vernon Wells, but Ryan is a rare commodity.
