Taping since 2000?
According to Yahoo!, Goodell told Specter that Belichick admitted that he has been taping 2000. Since he became the coach of the Pats. Forgive me, but if that's the case, why didn't he reveal this when the original "investigation" took place and figure out what the hell happened?!?!
Oh, Goodell, if it had just been you destroying the tapes and the like, that would have been a done deal. But if you had known from the beginning of the season that Belichick has been doing this for 7 years, shouldn't you have said something and figured out exactly which games he was taping?
It's not about the 2002 Super Bowl or whether or not they profited from the tapings all those years ago. Bill Belichick should be held accountable because thinking that taping is legal is an excuse that just doesn't cut it. If it were, why would they be so secretive about it in the first place?
For shame.
