Glass Carl to consult Dr. James Andrews

Yankees.com:

ARLINGTON -- Injured Yankees starter Carl Pavano (right forearm tightness) felt discomfort while pitching Wednesday afternoon and had to cut his bullpen session short after throwing for less than 10 minutes.

Pavano said he is going to consult noted orthopedist Dr. James Andrews as soon as possible because, "It's not where it needs to be."

"The setback was disappointing, but to me he was more disappointed than anybody because we don't count our chickens," Torre said. "The fact that he had to be shut down because of how he felt ... I know he is frustrated and he doesn't know what his next move is. Dr. Andrews may help him along those lines."

Torre said any appearance by Pavano, who has been injury-riddled since joining the Yankees in 2005, "is a bonus."

"We don't know when he is going to throw again," Torre said. "You certainly need to find out how to help him along in this area. I don't know what the answer is right now."

Mound
The problem is obviously that he's afraid of heights.  He's fine throwing long toss or on flat ground, but as soon as he's up 10 inches on the mound he falls apart.

I was talking
To some sox fans recently, and they were laughing at me, because of glass Carl.
They were just happy he didn't choose the sox. I had nothing to argue.

who was the G.M. in Arizona who just straight up cut Ortiz and the other $$ pitcher that wasn't doing it? Cut their losses said "we made a BIG  mistake " and just severed ties.
Sounds like Cashman needs to "man up" and send this fuck-stick packing, admit the mistake, eat the $$ and move on give some of the kids a chance.
I am not promoting giving up ion the season but this back and forth with this jerk is too much.

That is all I got to say about that.

Let's see what Andrews says
If he tells C-Glass to take the skirt off and man-up, than maybe he comes back in a month.  If he says the guy is really hurt, he needs to be cut.  Room on the 40-man is more important.  And who knows, if Lester comes back, and Schilling gets too fat to pitch maybe the Sux will pick him up and then he'll start earning the money we pay him!

this ugly piece of shit
i fucking hate this guy, i usually dont care when people fucking suck after a big contract as long as they play and try their hardest but this fucking piece of shit is just wasting precious yankee space. they should designate him for assignment just to embaress the fucker or better yet send him to the minors and keep him there till he pitches a few games.

Make him play
Why can't they just tell him to get out there and throw?  Normally you wouldn't want to screw up a pitcher's arm by making him play through pain, but if he's just going to have a 4 year Florida vacation anyway, tell him to get his ass out there until his arm falls off.

The Union may object to that
Just a hunch.

according to
econo's projections, Pavano will win 15 games this year and 22 next year. So if you want those projections to come true, please do not be creative and throw batteries at him.

Money
Once he's dead you don't have to pay him any more- should save a few million on the last year of the contract.

Hey everybody!
Well if it isn't my good friend Mr. McGregg, with a leg for an arm, and arm for a leg!
(Maybe that would improve Carl's arm strength.)

Rotoworld says Carol needs TJ surgery
Which should be a surprise to no one but Cashman, who apparently had him pegged as a 200 inning workhorse this year.

This could very likely end his career as a whole and almost certainly ends his Yankee career. I shudder to think at the costs per win on this contract.
